Spray Paint Methods??????

Hi. Thank you for helping with the red dress!

I've got another question...

SPRAY PAINT! I have plastic...and i spray paint it....but when the plastic hits stuff and makes impact, it kinda cracks, and spray paint glitter comes out....

Is there away to make the spray paint....durable? or like a spray paint gloss?

A coating over it? or to at least make the spraypaint some percentage stronger?

There are spraypaints made specifically for plastic, unless that's what your using. I can't think of anything to make it stronger.

They have special plastic-bonding paints, yes... they basically absorb into the plastic a little and they don't crack. They're a lil' expensive though. Look in fabric and craft stores for them if you can't find them at home improvement stores.

special spray paints are used to paint plastic, however one coat will not be enough to stop it from cracking so i would do a few coats

WOW REALLY?~

okay. so what do i do? scrape off all the current plastic? and theeeeeen spray paint it?

i think i may have to do that. cause if the old spraypaint is covering the plastic, the new spraypaint will be connecting to the spray paint.

actually there is a trick to melt paint and plastic, apply tinner over one of the faces (do it uniform, with cotton or something) and inmediatly apply the spray paint

There are spray paints that will bind to plastic well, you'd likely find them in with the rest of the paints where ever you get them (should say on the label somewhere)
If that doesn't work, you could always try a spray enamel type thing:shrug:
